Below is a list of some of the main courses that we offer so you can start to picture exactly what the courses are like.
This course provides learners with a full overview of the hairdressing practices, techniques and industry - as well as learning the technical skills needed to succeed in the hairdressing industry, the course also teaches learners the theory behind it. Some of the main things covered are consultation techniques and how to liaise with customers - Shampoo, hair colouring and cutting techniques and a wide range of other things - Head on over to the link provided to find out more.
This course takes the level 2 sections and expands on it - the course will go into more detail on the client consultation services and allow you to conduct some consultations yourself. To qualify for this course you will need previous hairdressing experience and also the successful completion of the level 2 diploma.
Level 2 diplomas in hairdressing provide learners with the skills needed to excel in a job within a busy London Salon. The course itself will ensure that learners are trained in health and safety practices within salons, colour and lighten hair, style and finish and also learn how to work on reception duties for busy London salons.
The level 3 is one of the more advanced courses that we offer here at LHAA - Learners will monitor and maintain a variety of health and safety practices in a salon - A key thing with this diploma is that learners will be taught how to style and dress hair based on a given style or theme. The course also focuses on more of a creative aspect allowing learners to develop their creative hairdressing skills and hair extension services.
All of the courses offered at LHAA will give you the building blocks to then start your career in the industry, we work with a range of salons across London and will be able to help you secure a job in one of these salons upon the completion of your Hairdressing Training Course
What are the different barbering courses?
As well as hairdressing training courses we also offer a variety of different barbering courses - The barbering courses that we offer will teach learners similar things to the hairdressing courses mentioned above, however, the course will be tailored towards the cutting of men's hair as opposed to females. The NVQ level 2 degree lasts for a period of 12 months and will require learners to attend their salon or learning workshop and least one day a week as this will teach them the required training needed to become a fully qualified barber.
If you are entirely new to barbering we have created this post which talks you through the costing, what to expect and some careers that you can head in to upon the completion of the course.
