Camden students get their first taste of competition work
Apprentice Hairdressers studying their Level 2 Apprenticeship at LHAA Camden enjoyed their first taste of competition work.
The group of Apprentices were asked to create a look based on what inspires them with hairdressing and were asked to include styling techniques that they have gained so far during their training such as blow drying, setting with curlers, heated styling equipment, and dressing hair with twists, plaits and victory rolls.
The Apprentices were judged on the style, attention to detail, balance, suitability, additional media and their creative mood boards.
Lynsey Baker the group educator said ‘They really showed some great talent, the group are relatively new so it was impressive to see how they have developed hairdressing skills and are making fantastic progress’.
Well Done Team Camden….A fantastic achievement by all on the day and well done to each and every one of you.
