Graduate success for the LHAA class of 2015

The LHAA has honoured the achievements of over 250 apprentices and adult learners at two special graduation events held at Wella Studios, London.
Students who completed their training during the 2014-15 year were joined by salon owners, VIPs and the staff representing all three of the LHAA academies in Borehamwood, Camden and Loughton for the celebrations.

The first graduation was held on 20th October and featured to a truly inspirational keynote speech by Adam Harris, owner and creative director at MG Hairdressing in Stanmore. After their certificates had been presented, guests congregated to watch a brilliant hair masterclass from Jo Wilcox from Patrick Cameron International.
Meanwhile at the November graduation, graduates and guests were treated to their own incredible keynote speech from world-renowned stylist Tony Rizzo of Sanrizz. The speech was followed by another exceptional masterclass, this time presented by Joseph Koniak of Joseph Koniak Hair. The input from the industry, as well as the emerging talent in the room meant that both graduation events were first class and another wonderful chapter in the LHAA story.

“The hair up demonstrations from Jo and Patrick were very creative and all of the guests commented on just how easy these professionals make it look – but then added that they would certainly be trying out some of the techniques learnt on the night,” said Francine Luker, Managing Director of LHAA. “We are also grateful to Wella, Chris & Sons and ITEC for sponsoring the main prize awards and to Wella for hosting the event at their prestigious studios in London.”
